SXSW Random Encounter | Director, Sol Friedman

A couple of days ago, I was on the SXSW shuttle heading to the convention center from  our hotel. I met this really cool guy named Sol Friedman  He was from our neighbors from the north, Canada. It turned out he was director and animator.  He was showing a short film at SXSW called Junko’s Shamisen. The film blended comic-style animation with real live action. I checked out the trailer and was very impressed. The film is available on dvd from the film’s site.
