Report from the Milwaukee Beer and Brat Festival
Listen: On Tuesday afternoon, I waded through a crowd of folks enjoying Miller High Life, Pabst Blue Ribbon, and eating Bratwurst — not terribly far from what I usually do at events, save one key difference… I was in Austin, Texas!
Some of the wonderful folks from Milwaukee who attended SXSW Interactive (here’s the Facebook group) thew a free, open to the public party out of the goodness of their hearts. While I was there with my microphone, I decided to grab some opinions from folks who came from around the country on what they think of Milwaukee:

Milwaukeee: More Flavorful Than A Hot Dog. Has some promise, right? And have you heard that song before? It’s “My Cousin in Milwaukee” from Ira and George Gershwin’s fmusical Pardon My English as sung by Ella Fitzgerald. Who knew?

I’m glad we could bring this event down to Austin and share with others from around the nation (world, actually) what a great city we have. We hope to do the same next year!
